Westport Collaborative Divorce Attorney and Mediator

I am a divorce attorney in Westport who empowers people to divorce in a manner that maintains their dignity, preserves their assets and protects their children. I enjoy working with couples to resolve their conflicts in an amicable way. Even couples who do not get along can avoid litigation and the disruption that it can cause. My goal is to help each divorcing spouse to examine his or her goals, as well as goals for his or her spouse and children. These include financial goals as well as less material goals such as maintaining family relationships and identifying and preserving the joyous parts of their family history. Once goals are established, I help couples meet their goals in an effective and cost-efficient manner, always seeking to preserve their dignity, confidentiality and resources. I get tremendous satisfaction from helping couples maintain, and hopefully enhance, their ability to communicate. This is especially a priority for couples with children who will be linked to each other for years to come.
